MullenLowe has promoted Katie McCambley, head of client services, to managing director.

The appointment follows Claire Hollands, former managing director, taking over from Jeremy Hine as chief executive last year.

McCambley will report to Hollands and sit on MullenLowe’s executive committee. She will be responsible for leading day-to-day operations and implementation of strategy.

She joined MullenLowe in 2015 as global account manager and became head of client services in 2023. She joined from M&C Saatchi London, where she was account manager.

McCambley said:

“Things are seriously hotting up here at MullenLowe; we’re hyper-focused on delivering creativity we’re all proud of and that’s key for me, given creativity brings new clients, new talent and new opportunities. I can’t wait to get stuck in!”

During her time at MullenLowe, McCambley has overseen work such as the “We are the NHS” recruitment campaign and she will continue to work with clients including the Department for Health and Social Care.

Hollands said:

“Katie is a proven leader who really embodies all the core values of MullenLowe. She’s brought tremendous value throughout her time here, producing award-winning campaigns that have driven outstanding results for our clients and incremental revenue growth for our agency, alongside bringing together both businesses across the group and the disciplines within them.

She is a perfect example of the type of new leadership I’m keen to bring through as we evolve as a business.”
